charge.
Long-Life: 6 V 3500 mAh, NiMH

ConcertLight battery packs, though similar in
appearance to some camcorder batteries, are NiMH
(Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries, not Ni-Cad (Nickel
Cadmium) batteries. NiMH batteries do not have
"memory" problems -- they do not have to be fully
discharged prior to charging. Nor do they contain
toxic chemicals. The batteries are rated at 500
re-charge cycles.
A/C Adapter
Transformer type: Plugs into
standard U.S. 110 Volt household current. UL
approved. German-style 230V adapter also available.

Is the lamp user replaceable?
At a rated life of 30,000 hours, the cold cathode
fluorescent lamp will not burn out in a lifetime of
use. However, should the lamp break, a replacement
lamp assembly with reflector is available from
LampCraft. It can be swapped out by removing the
screws holding the diffuser in place and snapping a
quick connector for the lamp wires.
How much does the ConcertLight
weigh?
To minimize weight, the lamp fixture, reflector and
diffuser, as well as the stand attachment/charger,
are fabricated out of plastic. In order to provide
support, the narrow diameter gooseneck is made of
metal. Actual weight of a unit on a music-stand with
a standard battery is less than 1.5 lbs. The a/c
adapter weighs an additional 1 lb.
Can I buy one now and use it
in Europe, Asia, etc.?
The AC adapter is only designed to work on U.S. and
Canadian electrical current (110 V, 60 cycle).
However, a 230 V, German-style AC adapter is also
available. (This can be ordered in place of the U.S.
adapter, or in addition to it as an accessory.) In
addition, many hotels catering to international
travelers often offer 110v outlets.
Which music stands does the
ConcertLight fit on?
The ConcertLight fits on virtually all metal stands,
including Manhasset, K&M, Hamilton, including those
with a rolled-edge or lip on the top of the music
rest, such as Nilton and Wenger. While the light
will also fit on standard (not big band) folding
stands, it is not recommended for very lightweight
stands. (These are not stable to begin with!)
However, it will work well on heavier duty folding
stands.
The clip attachment will also fit on furniture
stands with wooden music rests thinner than .25".
For stands with thicker wood, use the optional Piano
Clip.
Will it fit on a piano music
rest?
A Piano Clip attachment accessory is available so
that the ConcertLight can be used on Grand Pianos
and fine furniture wooden stands. This clip will
also work on digital pianos; however, it will likely not work on uprights
or other pianos where the music rest leans against
the surface of the piano. The piano clip is
made of heavy gauge stainless steel with green felt
padding and slides over the ConcertLight II's
standard clip attachment and locks firmly in place
with a Velcro fastener. The piano clip is
designed for use on wooden music rests that are .25"
to .75" inch in thickness. The piano clip
easily slides off your ConcertLight II so the light
can also be used on music stands as well.
Will the ConcertLight charge
two batteries at once?
No. A battery pack must be snapped into the stand
attachment for charging. Only one can be done at a
time.
